NATURAL WAY Writing Retreat October 9-11, 2009

Gabriele Rico is hosting the third three-day creative writing workshop in her oak-studded hillside California home, Friday, October 9-Sunday, October 11, 2009. The theme of the workshop is The Power of Story. If you have participated in a Rico Retreat, you know your writing will flow.

                                1:00 PM – 5:00 PM          Writing as a Communal Act, bricolaging, building, expanding
Sun. Oct 11             9:00 AM –12:00 Noon      Word Play, Less is More, Weaving for Wholeness, Readings.                                     
Location
Cupertino, California, home of both Apple, Inc. and Gabriele Rico (no relationship). Cupertino is 40 miles south of San Francisco Airport (SFO), 10 miles west of San Jose Airport (SJC). Rental Cars and Airport Shuttles are readily available. Details will be provided to participants upon sign-up.
Meals 
Continental breakfasts including coffee and teas throughout Saturday and Sunday. Lunch on Saturday,snacks available throughout the weekend.
 
Hotel and Lodging
Special room rates:  The Cypress Hotel, 10050 De Anza Boulevard, Cupertino ( De Anza and Stevens Creek Boulevards). Room rates: $89, King Deluxe room; $99, Queen Deluxe Double room. The Cypress is two miles from the Retreat site (carpooling a possibility).  Reservations: 866 408-0704; tell them you are attending the Gabriele Rico October 2009 Workshop. Rooms are set aside for October 7-12, 2009 (held until Friday, Sept. 18, 2009).

Cost
$225 (includes lunch, breakfasts, and snacks). Reserve a place with a $100.00 deposit. Cancellations with full refund prior to Monday, September 28, 2009—after that date, not refundable.  Balance due Monday, September 28, 2009.
